OUR FACILITIES
The Yates County Sportsman's Club promotes hunting, fishing, and shooting sports in Yates County. There are just over 27 acres of property on the east side hills of Keuka Lake along State Route 54. Our grounds include a cleared range which is available to members and to the public during club sanctioned events. There is a large wooded area and an archery range is in development. Members of the Yates County Sheriff's Department and the Penn Yan Village Police Department use the range for their regular qualifications. Our Trap Machine is portable and may be used by the members. Members may reserve the grounds and clubhouse for private events upon approval from our Directors. Throughout the year we offer several special shooting events Open to the Public, courses for firearms skills and safety, and our Annual Open House in June.
Range
Our range offers a covered pavillion with shooting benches and gun rests. There is a Pistol Range and a stepped 200 yard range that is maintained for our members. This is a "carry in, carry out" facility. You are welcome to bring your own paper targets and we accept plywood or pallets for backing boards.

Clubhouse
The Clubhouse is named after Charlie Spacek a long-time member, outdoor enthusiast and Big Buck scorer. Charlie was an inspiration to all and a true conservationist.. We have two bathroom a prep kitchen with counters, sink, and refrigerator, and a dining hall for 60 people. Members may rent the facility for a nominal fee.
